ROG Delta

I had been using the ROG Delta for a while when Asus approached me wanting a video for it. Was excited as the design of the headset was so aesthetic, which was what drew me to it in the first place. I wanted to make sure the video did this product's beauty justice.
I wanted to accentuate the RGB of the product, and the unique shape of the product. This video was more of just a promotional video to bring attention to the product, instead of highlighting all of the specs.
The opening shot went through a couple variations. The first concept was having it fade to black to a heart beat sound , and each time it came back its was a different scene. The idea for that was to just show off the aesthetics of the product in all these different scenes. As the video became more and more finalized, me and Asus agreed that the changing of scenes didn't really make sense in the overall art direction of the video.
We ended up having the scene remain the same for the shot, and to break up the long shot, animate the foreground, background, and mid-ground lights, and end with the product lighting "powering" up, a good transition to the now lit up product in the next scene.
