ASUS ROG Strix GTX
As a huge fan of Asus products in general, using an Asus motherboard, monitors, and an Asus ROG GTX 1080 Ti graphics card, the one I made here, I wanted to make something for them. Asus had been hosting a bunch of design contests to make custom backplates for their GPUs so I figured they would be keeping an eye out for some nice art work.
It was a fun, yet challenging product to model, so it was some good practice, and I am very happy with the final outcome. I kept the sci-fi theme that Asus likes to portray in their own advertisements, but with my own spin/style on it.
I wanted the advertisement to be really eye catching to both the consumer and the people at Asus, as I was really wanting to work for them. I couldn't not use the signature ROG red, so to accent it I threw in a cool dark blue. Thank you to my buddy @RemixNv for saving me some time providing a couple renders to the side showing off my model.
Wallpaper
I created a wallpaper to practice some lighting. It was well received on my platform to the point Asus ROG contacted me asking for permission to put it up on their site. You can now download the "Triumphant" wallpaper under the ROG Wallpaper collection 2018 on the Asus Republic of Gamers website.
